Friends II represents the value of friendship.
The artist paints faces that follow each other in a harmonious sense. They have big eyes that talk to each other, as only friends can do with knowing gazes and perfect understandings, and they are are expressive faces with heart-shaped lips that scream a bond of friendship.
Hani Badawi creates figures that communicate with each other, made of bold touches of red, yellow and blue that want to symbolize the strength of friendship, reinforced even more by the use of the spatula that seems to imprint on the canvas the importance of being always side by side.
